I had a few good ideas:
1. At my sister's wedding (that was the time where all the powerpoint presentations were very much in fashion), my sister asked me to help prepare the presentation.
I had asked a friend of mine who had a projector and I started to call all her future husband's family for"supposedly " pictures to share.
But my plan was not that, I had an additional plan (i didnt cancel the presentation idea).
I also asked all family members to give me funny stories of her husband's life. I knew my sister's so I didn't need any.
I started to prepare one A4 size (like letter size in US just a little different dimentsions) newsletter to be given to all the guests.
The pictures I selected, I tried very hard not to put any other family member's picture or name (not even mine) as it had to be theirs.
I started as bay pictures, then child pictures and the last picture being their picture together.
Told the amazing story how thay met- which is fairy tale like story and then explained some of the traditional gifts guest were given and what it means (I also included everyone with an evil eye bead, safety pin, for good luck and against evil eye) in a sentence. at the back there was the funny and innocent childhood stories as they did, they were a hit.
It was a unique gift.
On the day of thr wedding bad luck the projector broke. I cam to my sister as a bearer of bad news, she was sorry but she was ok, but then I told her I have a solution (me and my boyfriend we used to color printers all night to print at least 200 copies of these newsletters)
My sister and her husband (today), looked at me , cried and silenced and they gave me the best hugs as everyone can imagine...
It was a moment of love satisfaction, happiness everythign you can imagine....
I love you all..
